Nursery SOS

Nursery SOS giveaway

Posted by: ,

Baby on the way but struggling for nursery space? You’re not alone. In a recent survey, 85% of parents said that creating the perfect nursery was important yet 22% don’t feel they have enough space – either because they’re living in a one bedroom flat, a studio or still at home with their parents. Some parents added that worrying about a nursery caused strain on their relationship.

To help expectant parents get set for their new arrival, no matter what the space, we’ve teamed up with interiors designer Alice Davies, as seen on BBC2′s The Great Interior Design Challenge, to offer an awesome prize. One lucky winner will win a complete nursery furniture set from our new own-label Kiddicare collection, interior design by Alice plus a generous budget for fabrics, furnishings and fittings to create the ultimate nursery.

And that’s not all. For every 100 entries we receive we’ll donate a set of furniture to the Colour A Child’s Life project with children’s charity Kids Company, a charity dedicated to transforming the living conditions of children and families in some of London’s most disadvantaged communities.

You can nominate yourself or a friend, partner or relative who could use a helping hand. Entering is easy. Just take a photo of your space and email Nursery SOS with the following details:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Phone number
  • Town
  • If you’re nominating someone else please also give their name, email, phone number and town
  • Up to 400 words (max) on why you or your nominee need help with your space

The prize draw closes at midnight on 13th July 2014. See below for full terms and conditions. Good luck!

  4. Would love to recieve this. My son has been in his own room for around 2 weeks now. His cot is being held together my dressing gown belts as it has broken and I can’t afford a new one. He is started to roll and pull on things and I’m worried as he can pull it down and fall out. It’s a lovely set. Anyone would be lucky to have it :)

      • I Heather McCarthy am Nominating My Daughter Emma, She unlike most mothers ive read on here is not pregnant, but has 2 children who’s ages are 35months & 16months…The Youngest is currently sharing her bedroom in the first sons cot… They Both have everything they need & never go without.. I make sure of that! My Daughter does have room.. A tiny box bedroom which would be fine for him, but currently due to childcare costs gave up her job to look after her Son’s & money wise like us all finds it Very hard to Afford New. She is a Amazing Mother (takes after Me)… I would Love her to be able to have All New stuff for her youngest child and him to move to his own Bedroom.

  11. Hi, this is my first baby and I want to give my baby the feeling of perfection in every thing and choosing nursery is one of them. Kiddicare nursery is one of the best but due to my husband’s low income I can’t take step forward to fulfill my wishes towards my upcoming baby. So I wish to win this prize…….

  12. A year and a half previous to this pregnancy I was told that having my own child was low probability. It crushed my world. And shattered every parenting desires I had ever dreamt of. When I found out I was pregnant no experience or joy can really compare to the feeling of knowing that I have been looked upon by an angel and blessed with what was looked at impossible. Although it hasn’t been without it’s complications I wouldn’t change it for the world. All I wish is that I could give my miracle baby the best of the best. This nursery is absolutely stunning. Perfection. Due to poor work ethic by bosses and a partner who lives away studying on low income I have been left in a financial struggle although I wouldn’t change it for the world this would certainly take the weight off my shoulders. I wish everyone luck in the competition and in life. I intend to enjoy every second. Thank you all for reading. The strongest feeling I have in my hert from this experience is that anything is possible if you believe. Positive thinking leads to positive outcomes.
