The value of one to one time
I’m will be joining Kayleigh on her pre-school trip to the local farm and everyone is excited. The school are excited as its their first trip in quiet a number of years, Kayleigh is excited as she will be seeing the animals and I’m excited to be spending some quality one to one time with Kayleigh.
I think since Ethan has come along our one to one time has always been limited. Obviously, when she was an only child we spent hours together and now that’s not as easy with Ethan wanting attention too.
I would love to have a close relationship with my daughter as she grows up and I think that quality time together just the two of us would really benefit that, so Tuesday is a start and hopefully going forward we could do it a lot more often.
I think maybe I should make more of an effort with both children for some quality time together.
What is your favourite activity you do with your child for some one to one time and how do you manage to fit it in?
