Frugal and Fun ideas for the School Summer Holidays

Jenny_Blog_2

The school holidays are soon with us and they can loom long and expensive.

Many parents worry about how to fill their children’s time with fun and stimulating experiences without spending a fortune. Everything seems to cost so much these days! Well, because of this I, and two other thrifty bloggers from the Frugal and Fun team decided to pool our creative ideas and have come up with our new eBook – Frugal and Fun: Enjoying School Holidays the Thrifty Way.

We really hope it inspires parents to craft, create, play, bake, make and do crazy science with their kids this summer, without the need to spend lots of money. The ideas encourage kids to cross cultures, embrace the outdoors, make a book all about themselves, create stories and have an absolutely TOP summer on a budget!

It also has a whole section on preparing for the summer holidays including, tips for making a homemade craft box and boredom jar and sorting out your toys!

The book has themed weeks which include The Olympics, Heroes and Heroines, The Great Outdoors, Colours and Home Sweet Home.

Every week we give you five indoor activities, five outdoor activities and five recipes you can make with your kids. Surely that will keep them, and you, busy? This book is for children aged 3-10 and ideas are easily simplified or extended depending on the child’s age.

This saves you many hours searching the internet for fun and frugal ideas. It could be the best £4 you spend this summer.

The eBook costs £4 to download as a PDF by clicking on Frugal and Fun and is £2.99 to buy on Kindle
